So you will understand how we work. This privacy policy applies to the website and services of AISLER B.V., or any of its subsidiaries (i.e. AISLER Germany GmbH and AISLER Americas, Inc.) (hereafter “AISLER”). You must know that AISLER is not responsible for the privacy policy of other websites and other sources. By using our website you acknowledge to accept our privacy policy.
AISLER respects the privacy of all the visitors and users of its website and ensures that all personal information which you will give us, will be dealt with in a strict confidential manner. We handle any personal data you submit to us in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
AISLER will only use your data if you give your consent or if AISLER needs your data to deliver (or has delivered) products or services to you. AISLER will not sell your personal data to third parties. AISLER will only make the data available to third parties involved in the performance of the contract between AISLER and you. If and when AISLER processes your data in any other way this will be subject to your (express) consent.
1) AISLER collects the following personal data to provide you with the following products and services:
We process your personal data for the general purpose of concluding agreements with you regarding our services and to perform our obligations under such agreements. When you order one of our services and products, we will ask for personal and/or company data like name, address etc. These data will be used to execute your order. These data will be stored on a secured server owned by AISLER or by a third party, in which case fully controlled by AISLER. We will not combine your personal data with other data.
In specific we collect and store the following personal data:
1.1 If you register an account with us we store your e-mail address, username and password. We use this information validate your account information, provide you access to view and modify closed parts of our website, such as your orders, account information or projects and inform you about our services.
1.2. If you upload project related data to us, we will store the project and certain meta information about the project and connect it with your registered account data. We use this information so that we can provide the order functionality to you.
1.3. If you order products or services from us, we store details provided by you, such as shipping and billing address, if applicable a European VAT number and the type of payment method you have chosen. If you chose Express Shipping, we have to store a valid phone number. We need this information to fulfill your order.
1.4. When you send emails or other messages we will save these messages when this is relevant. Sometimes we will ask for your personal and company data if necessary. This enables us to answer your questions and requests. These data will be stored on a secured server owned by AISLER or by a third party, in which case fully controlled by AISLER. We will not combine your personal data with other data.
2) Legal basis of processing
The above-mentioned data will be processed by AISLER using per data processing one of the following legal basis:
- Your consent, and if needed your explicit consent, or
- To fulfill our obligations under the contract with you or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, or
- To comply with a legal obligation AISLER is subject to
3) AISLER does not sell your data
We will not sell and/or provide your data to other parties for any commercial purpose. In some cases your data will be shared internally but, if applicable, our personnel signed a non-disclosure contract to respect the confidentiality of your personal data. Sometimes it is necessary to share your data with a third party to provide our full service.
4) Partners
AISLER uses partners to manage and store its data. These partners may be located in the EU, but also outside the EU. AISLER chooses partners that offer an adequate level of personal data protection, either through compliance with the US-EU Privacy Shield Framework, Binding Corporate Rules or entering into Standard Contractual Clauses as accepted by the European Commission or through comparable rules. AISLER enters into processor agreements with all its partners if needed.

We offer all visitors the possibility to look at, to change or to delete all personal data that has been provided to us.

6) Data retention
AISLER retains your data as long as it is necessary to deliver our services. If you decide to stop using our services, we will delete your personal data at your request. Remember that a copy of this data may be stored in backups. Due to certain legal requirements some personal data, for example on invoices, may have to be stored for a longer period even after you have requested to delete your personal data. We will inform you when this is required.
7) Security
The security of your data is also important. We will ensure that the information is sent encrypted via SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Remember, however, that no security is 100% safe and that AISLER is therefore unable to guarantee that security. We have, however, implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and unlawful processing. We keep backups of our data at a secure location and we strive to use encryption whenever this is feasible. The software which we use to process personal data is purchased from respected and reliable vendors, with a general preference towards open source.
8) Alterations and Changes to our Privacy Policy
This privacy policy is tuned to the current status of our website. Adjustments or changes on our website can lead to changes in the privacy policy. So we advise you to read our privacy policy on a regular basis.
How AISLER handles Cookies
AISLER uses cookies to recognize you on a subsequent visit to the website. A cookie is a simple small piece of data sent from a website and stored by your browser while browsing the website. Cookies enable us to collect information about the use of our services and to improve them and to adapt the services to your wishes.
